Meet the Team

  • Rachel Bargas, MS, PLPC

Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from McNeese State University and Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University, New Orleans.

I bring a strong foundation in health care and client-centered practice to my counseling work. My integrative theoretical orientation combines cognitive, narrative, and psychodynamic approaches. I believe individuals develop core beliefs and interpretations of life’s events during childhood, which unconsciously influence them throughout adulthood.

Certification by this commission designates the professional as being qualified to assist work organizations in addressing productivity issues and aiding employees in identifying and working towards resolution of personal concerns, including marital, family, and emotional or other personal issues that may affect job performance.
